How ti&m’s reliable identity verification works

Using advanced image detection and cross-validation of contextual information we shield you from fraudsters.

Step 1

ID verification

Our patented document verification system will read identity documents such as ID-cards and passports from over 40 nationalities and perform advanced checks in milliseconds. As an additional security step, it is also able to read the MRZ and the hologram.

Step 2

Biometric verification

Ensure the documents are presented by their rightful owner. The user is asked to move their head in front of the camera while the system takes multiple photos. This advanced verification method assesses the facial biometrics of the person, while checking for liveness, ensuring a real person is submitting the verification request.

Step 3

Face match

All data is matched together to obtain a full picture of the person requesting the identification. Live photos are compared with the photos on the ID to ensure there is a match.

Step 4

Data verification

As a last step, the user is asked for their address information, and this is cross-checked with official databases to ensure authenticity.

From lighting conditions to background colors, so much can get in the way of automatic document verification. When an authentic document cannot be verified by our AI algorithm, the asynchronous check system kicks in.
